LONDON - A community COVID-19 outbreak has been declared in London.
The Middlesex-London Health Unit made the declaration after five Western University students tested positive for the virus. The students were not in class or attending activities at the campus. They have all be out to local bars and night clubs in the City.
The Health Unit is asking anyone who visited downtown clubs, restaurants and bars to self monitor for symptoms and to get tested if any show up over the next 14 days. The Health Unit is asking everyone, especially young people to avoid the urge to party as we enter the beginning of the school year.
If you plan on getting tested today in London, brace for long lines as plenty of people are getting tested today because of this outbreak.
