Hundreds of municipal leaders including Premier Wynne were in attendance at the Niagara Falls conference
WOODSTOCK - The Mayor of Woodstock had a great time networking at he AMO conference in Niagara Falls.
Trevor Birtch says it was a great oppurtunity to meet with leaders from other municipalities in the Province and a chance to speak with some of our Provincial leaders. He tells Heart FM why he felt the conference was such a valuable experience.
"That ability to network and collaborate, I can offer solutions and encourage others to improve the quality of life for their residents and they have information that we can bring back that's useful for discussion as well."
Birtch says they were encouraged to have good open dialogue with the Provincial and Federal representatives in your riding. One thing he plans on doing is asking local Federal candidates on their plans to work with the municipality if they get elected on October 19th.
