ONTARIO - A new partnership between Ontario and Canada is aimed at helping some big issues.
The partnership, announced by Prime Minister Mark Carney and Premier Doug Ford, is aimed at building more affordable housing and investing in reliable infrastructure and public transit systems. It also includes a tax and fee reduction of up to $200,000 for Ontario home purchases.
The federal and Ontario Governments are taking measures with Tax relief for homebuyers, along with Development Charge Reductions. They are also collaborating on several projects, which includes the Eastwater Transit Line, GO 2.0, High-Speed rail ALTO and continuing work on 5 major public transit projects in the GTA and Hamilton.
