Niagara Falls is celebrating Canada's gold-medal winning women's soccer team!
Tonight, the Canadian Horseshoe and American Falls will light up between 9:30 to 10:00 p.m. in recognition of the historic win.
The Niagara Falls Illumination Board says the Falls will alternate between red, white and gold illuminations.
The team secured Canada's first ever gold medal in the event earlier today by beating Sweden by a score of 3 to 2.
The illumination is also a chance to celebrate the achievements of all Canadian athletes competing in Tokyo.
