It was not a good start to the weekend for a Port Colborne man.
DELHI - Norfolk OPP gets an impaired driver off the road.
This past Friday, just after 6:35 p.m. officers responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding a potential impaired driver on Highway 3 in Delhi. It was on Church Street East when officers pulled the vehicle over and conducted an investigation.
A roadside sobriety test was conducted, and the driver was taken into custody. A 27-year-old Port Colbourne man is now facing a charge of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
He will be in a Simcoe Courtroom on Tuesday, May 14th to answer to his charge.
