Another COVID 19 vaccine may soon arrive in Canada.
Novavax has submitted its COVID-19 vaccine to Health Canada for approval.
The U.S. biotechnology company says its application includes data from a clinical trial that included over 30,000 participants in Mexico and the United States.
The two-dose inoculation is made with lab-grown copies of the spike protein that coats the coronavirus, which differs from mRNA vaccines like Pfizer and Moderna.
Those shots send genetic instructions for the body to create its own spike protein.
