Cassie + Friends supports kids and families that have been affected by juvenile arthritis and other childhood rheumatic diseases.
OXFORD COUNTY - Tickets are on sale for an online raffle in support of Cassie + Friends.
It's the only charity in Canada that's 100 percent dedicated to helping kids and families that have been affected by juvenile arthritis and other childhood rheumatic diseases.
Marissa Sangers is the Family Engagement Coordinator and she lives in Woodstock with her daughter Charlotte, who has been living with juvenile arthritis for the past eight years.
Marissa tells us about some of the items in the raffle.
"A couple of overnight stays in Toronto with CN Tower or Ripley's Aquarium tickets, we have waterpark passes, signed Blue Jays merch and Connor Bedard merch, we also have Stratford Festival tickets because it's a beautiful time of the year for that."
Tickets can be purchased on the Cassie + Friends website, and Marissa says they have lots of different deals to choose from.
"Tickets for one for $10, three for $20, 10 for $50 or 25 for $100. All of the tickets will help us fund research so kids don't have to live with this."
Friday June 27th at 4:00 p.m. is the deadline and the draws will be taking place at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday June 28th.
Marissa Sangers stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Monday June 16th. You can listen to the full interview below:
