Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath visited a dairy farm in the Thamesford area yesterday afternoon and she has a scheduled stop in Paris this morning.
ONTARIO - Ontario's NDP Leader is in the area today to talk about her party's plan for mental health.
Andrea Horwath has a scheduled stop in Paris this morning. If the NDP wins the election, the party is planning to introduce a Universal Mental Health Care Plan. This means counselling and therapy would be covered by OHIP.
Horwath is going to head to Elgin County afterwards to mark International Nurses Day.
The Ontario NDP Leader stopped by a dairy farm in the Thamesford area yesterday with local NDP candidate Lindsay Wilson.
Meanwhile, Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford will be making an announcement in Kitchener today before heading to the London and Windsor area afterwards.
Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca will be in the GTA this morning and the Niagara Region later this afternoon.
Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner will unveil his party's platform in Toronto today.
