Group will cease work on September 6th.
Ontario's COVID-19 Science Advisory Table is being dissolved.
The advisers issued a statement this morning, saying Public Health Ontario has informed them that the group will be dissolved on September 6th.
Until then, it will aim to complete existing work.
"The COVID-19 pandemic continues, and it contributes to Ontario's growing number of health system crises," the statement reads.
The group was formed over two years ago and included over 40 health professionals and scientists at its peak.
The science table's advice and guidance at various times during the pandemic ran contrary to government actions.
