A Norfolk OPP officer was patrolling near Alice Street in Waterford on Thursday around 12:43 a.m. when a vehicle caught the officer's eye.
As a result of the investigation a 47 year old woman from Norfolk is charged with possession of Cocaine, possession of Oxycotin, driving while suspended, and failing to provide proof of insurance.
On Wednesday police were called by a concerned vehicle owner who woke up to find their vehicle had been damaged.
Police say unknown suspects damaged the tailgate on a pickup truck parked in the driveway on Lingwood Drive. The rear tail lights were also damaged.
Police are also investigating another suspicious incident in the Lingwood Drive area on Wednesday.
A concerned citizen reported an attempted theft around 5:50 a.m. When police arrived they discovered someone had cut the lock off a trailer parked in a driveway.
The would-be thieves then backed a vehicle into the driveway and tried to steal the trailer and the snowmobile inside, but they were unsuccessful.
