Oxford Attack Beat London

The Oxford Attack continued their hot start to the season with a victory over London.

LONDON:  The Oxford Attack Under-14 Major Bantam Girls team travelled to London to play the London 86ers and came away with a narrow 47-42 victory.

The Attack maintained a narrow lead throughout the first half in a back and forth game.  The Attack lead swelled to 12 in the 3rd quarter with their zone pressure defense and they held on in the 4th quarter for a narrow hard fought win.  Leading the Attack in scoring was Madison Sousa and Brianne Kunderman with 15 and 12 points, respectively.  Emma Chevers and Jaycee Gilbert played great individual defense.  The Attack hit two 3-points baskets this game and continue to vary their defensive style from full court person to person pressing, zone pressing and an aggressive half court defense.

Next up for the Attack U-14 girls is their first tournament of the season in Stoney Creek the last weekend in November.
