Great Start to the season for the U14 Oxford Attack
WOODSTOCK - The Ontario Basketball Association season began for the Oxford Attack Basketball Club and their Under-14 Major Bantam Girls team this week. The Attack U-14 girls hosted the Brantford CYO Falcons in both teams first game of the season. The Attack raced out to a commanding half time lead of 30-8 and finished the game in control of a 48-30 final score. Hannah Cowan and Amanda Witmer led the Attack with 14 and 13 points respectively.
The Oxford Attack Basketball Club will field 10 teams competing in the O.B.A. this season. These include U-11 boys, U-12 boys, U-13 girls, U-14 girls, two U-15 boys teams, U-16 boys, U-17 girls, U-17 boys and a U-19 men's team.
The Oxford Attack will also host its first O.B.A. sanctioned tournament in Woodstock on January 22-24 2016 for U-14 Major Bantam girls.
Next up for the Attack U-14 girls is game in London versus the 86ers next week. The brand new Attack U-11 atom boys host a game at Huron Park S.S. pm Tuesday November 17 at 7:00 pm.
