THAMESFORD - The Thamesford Trojans started the Yeck Division Final off on the wrong foot.
They suffered a 4-1 loss to the Mount Brydges Bulldogs in Game 1 last night.
Game 2 of the best-of-seven championship series is scheduled for tomorrow night at Tri-Town Ice Arena, and Game 3 will return to Thamesford Sunday night with a 7:00 p.m. puck drop.
In other PJHL action, the Woodstock Navy Vets will host the New Hamburg Firebirds in Game 2 of the Doherty Division Final tomorrow, with a 1:45 p.m. start time. New Hamburg is currently leading that championship series 1-0, and the Firebirds will host Game 3 of that series on Saturday.
