A 45-year-old Woodstock man is facing serious charges in a domestic assault case. Police were called to a home yesterday in the area of Lansdowne and Devonshire to a domestic violence complaint. The man was arrested and charged with Assault, Forcible Confinement, Sexual Assault, Breach of Probation and Criminal Harassment. He is not being identified to protect the identity of the victim, who had no physical injuries according to police. That was just one of 5 domestic assault calls yesterday that ended in charges being laid.
