A report from a concerned citizen led to the arrest of six people from Stratford on possession and trafficking charges.
STRATFORD - Six people are facing possession charges after a drug bust in Stratford.
On Friday, May 13th Stratford Police were told of a man seen entering a Church Street address with a gun.
When police went to investigate they discovered the man was visiting a person in the apartment building. The officers knew the man and he was told to leave the building. A total of six people were arrested and taken back to headquarters.
When officers searched the apartment they found:
1 black Powerline brand .177 caliber BB Pistol
1 black Crossman brand Pellet Pistol
10.9 Grams of Methamphetamine with an estimated street value of approximately $1900
2.4 Grams & 26.8 Grams of Marijuana and one Marijuana cigarette with an estimated street value of $300
18.4 grams of Hashish with an estimated street value of $640
All the people involved were arrested for possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking controlled substances. They were released on a Promise to Appear.
All six are from Stratford.
