The Ontario Provincial Police have released details for an important province-wide prescription drug disposal day. Police across Ontario have recognized that prescription drug abuse can lead to a wide variety of violent acts and property crimes. Woodstock Police and the Oxford County OPP will both be having collection days on Saturday, May 11. The Woodstock Prescription Drug Drop Off Day will be held at the County Parking Lot on Graham St, north of the public library, between 9am and 1pm. Tillsonburg will also be holding their's the same day in the Canadian Tire parking lot at 248 Broadway St, between 10am and 3pm. You may dispose of your expired or unwanted prescription drugs anonymously, without getting out of your car, at each location.
