The jury hearing the Michael Rafferty murder trial are expected to be back in court this morning after a five day break. Court proceedings were postponed Tuesday as Rafferty's lawyer, Dirk Derstine, was home sick with the flu. The trial was set to resume at 10 am after taking four days off over the Easter long weekend. Forensic experts are expected to begin testifying this morning about DNA tests that were conducted on a number of items that were seized from Rafferty's car.
