Rotary Medalists Announced for 2022

Woodstock Rotary President Graham Hart stopped by the Heart FM Studio yesterday morning to announce the Rotary Medalists for 2022.

OXFORD COUNTY - Thirteen local high school students in Oxford County have been named Rotary Medalists this year.

Woodstock Rotary President Graham Hart says the Rotary Medalist Award always goes to one or two students from each high school in Oxford County.

"We're recognizing a student at a high school who has really exhibited service above self by doing a lot of volunteer work and meets our criteria of outstanding moral character."

Hart adds the schools actually get to pick the award winners.

"Each high school has their own process to decide which two students will represent their school with the Rotary Medal."

Each winner will receive a $500 cheque and a special lawn sign donated by ERB Signs.

A special web event will be taking place over Zoom on Tuesday June 7th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to honour each of the winners. It will be open to the public and you will be able to watch it online here

You can find a list of all of the 2022 Rotary Medalists below:
