MONTREAL - Canadian rock icon Sass Jordan has passed away at the age of 63.
A statement was posted on her official social media pages on Saturday, saying she peacefully crossed over to the other side the day before and she was surronded by her loving family at the time.
Her cause of death has not been released.
Jordan was born in Birmingham, England and moved to Montreal when she was about three-years-old. She released 10 albums throughout her career starting with her debut album Tell Somebody in 1988. Her last album titled Bitches Blues was released in 2022.
Jordan was also a judge on all six seasons of Canadian Idol from 2003 to 2008 and she was the headliner for the Good for the Soll musical festival in Ingersoll last year.
