There's potential for dangerous weather this afternoon that could bring along hail, torrential rain, or tornadoes.
OXFORD - There's a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for Oxford County.
At around 10:00 a.m., Environment Canada issued a statement saying that conditions are favourable for dangerous thunderstorms that could bring strong wind gusts, large hail, and torrential rain along with them. The storm is expected to come anytime between early this afternoon and late this evening.
It is essential that you keep an eye on the weather and stay indoors when thunderstorms strike. Large hail can damage property and cause injury, and strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, and overturn large vehicles. There is also potential for tornadoes.
