Oxford OPP have recovered 5 stolen tractors valued at over $366,000 and arrested a man from Norfolk County.
Oxford OPP have recovered 5 stolen tractors and arrested a 49 year old man from Norfolk County.
Over a three month period 5 tractors were stolen from farms in Norfolk County, Brant County, Norwich Township and a business in Burlington. The estimated value of all five tractors is estimated to be over $366,000. The stolen tractor from Norwich Township was taken from a farm on Beaconsfield Road on March 28th. It was a 2005 John Deere tractor valued at over $90,000.
The Oxford County Street Team have been investigating the thefts for months now and have made an arrest. 49 year old Robert Braun of Norfolk County has been charged with three counts of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
