Police have released the identity of the drowning victim in Grand Bend from last week.
STRATFORD - A 64 year old man from Stratford has died after drowning in Grand Bend.
Walter Sugden was pulled from Lake Huron last Thursday night by a couple of of good Samaritans. They tried to resuscitate the man who was reportedly unconscious and unresponsive. The man was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police have now released his identity and the post mortem concluded that the cause of death was indeed drowning.
