Cycles of Life will be hosting a Stuff the Bus food drive outside Scotts No Frills this Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
WOODSTOCK - Cycles of Life is asking Woodstonians to come down to Scott's No Frills to Stuff the Bus.
On Saturday, August 13th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be a food drive aimed to help the homeless, families with young children, people with disabilities, and seniors.
As all food banks are in extremely high demand, Cycles of Life Co-Founder Tim Smith encourages anyone to help out.
"We hand a lot of food, clothing, toiletries, and household items out all the time, and we need help because our shelves are getting bare."
Smith says since November 2021, they've helped approximately 5,000 people in Woodstock alone, and their demand is growing rapidly.
His long-term goal at Cycles of Life is to open a 24/7 shelter with transitional housing attached and "Break the cycle" of homelessness.
"Everybody who helps us is actually helping other members of the community."
