A teen from Oxford is going to spend the next week walking after getting charged for stunt driving.
An 18 year old man from South West Oxford Township is going to be walking for awhile after police charged him stunt driving.
Police say the pulled over a Suzuki SXR on Embro Road on Thursday morning doing 134 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone. The driver was ticketed and charged with stunt driving. His licence will automatically be suspended for seven days and his car was impounded.
As tempting it may be to increase speeds on dry roads, motorists are urged to abide by the posted speed limits and slow down and be extra attentive from sunset to midnight and during the hours shortly before and after sunrise. These are the highest risk times for deer-vehicle collisions.
