Employees and customers were evacuated from all of the businesses inside the Sobeys Plaza around 1:30 pm today.
WOODSTOCK - Employees and customers at the Sobey's Plaza in Woodstock were evucated today.
Heart FM was at the location, where employees stood across the street while police investigated. Several people confirmed to Heart FM that a bomb threat was called in and that is why they were told to evacuate. No information has been given from the Police however, other than to say it was an active investigation.
Police and fire arrived on scene around 1:30 this afternoon. The evacuation lasted under an hour and the stores are open and customers are welcome to shop again.
We did not get any reports of injuries. We will update this page as soon as we get the official word from Police. Heart FM is expecting a release from WPS later this afternoon.
