A woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after hitting her head while swimming.
PORT STANLEY - A woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after hitting her head at Little Beach.
On the afternoon of August 8th around 4:17 p.m. the Elgin OPP, Central Elgin Fire Rescue - Port Stanley , and Thames Emergency Medical Services were called out to Port Stanley after a 37 year old woman lost consciousness while swimming.
They say the woman from St Thomas was swimming in approximately two feet of water on the west side of the beach when she dove under, hitting her head.
