A 16-year-old has been charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 in relation to the theft of Pride flags in Norwich Township.
NORWICH - Charges have been laid in relation to the theft of Pride flags in Norwich.
The Oxford OPP has charged a 16-year-old from Norwich Township with two counts of theft under $5,000. Their identity has not been made public due to Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Officers responded to several reports of Pride flags being stolen or vandalized on Stover Street between May 20th and May 24th. The investigation is still ongoing at this time and officers are hoping to identify others would could be responsible.
