This year's Oxford Reads selection will be The Maid by Nita Prose.
OXFORD COUNTY - An Oxford County wide book club is back.
Oxford Reads has returned and residents from across the County are encouraged to attend any of the Oxford County Libraries or the Woodstock Public Library to pick up the book The Maid by Nita Prose.
System Support Librarian for Oxford County Library Sarah Adam explains the history behind the event.
"This is our sixth year offering Oxford Reads. Oxford Reads is a community-wide reading program. We partner with the Woodstock Public Library, and select a title based on our patrons voting."
Adam says the title The Maid was an overwhelming consensus in the vote, and that no matter who you are you should get involved.
"We have every format you could possibly want. We have paper copies, large print copies, books on CDs, eBooks, eAudio Books. If you want to read The Maid, we will make sure there is a format for you."
Adam mentions that the Oxford Reads Gala will return this year in person, and more information will be released in September.
