The Oxford Historical Society and Woodstock Museum Advisory Committee are organizing the Spirit of Christmas Tour of Homes this year. The tour is also a fundraiser that will feature five historic and modern homes tomorrow from 10 to 2 pm.
WOODSTOCK - Five historic and modern homes in Woodstock will showcase their Christmas decorations.
The Spirit of Christmas Tour of Homes will be held tomorrow morning, which is organized by the Woodstock Museum Advisory Committee and the Oxford Historical Society.
President of the Historical Society Kathy Richards says the event gives people ideas on how to decorate their own homes.
"We've never had a problem with people going into homes, we have volunteers who oversee all the visitors so that nothing gets damaged or taken."
The tour has been going on since 2012.
Richards says it'll be held at multiple locations.
"You can start at any home you wish. Whichever is convenient to where you live or whichever one you really think you'll want to be sure to see that home."
She says tour locations include 52 Victoria St and 419 Vincent St, the latter of which was built in 1849.
Tickets cost $20.00 and they can be bought at Merrifield Book Shop and VanWees Mostly Roses. Proceeds will be split between the two organizations.
It starts at 10:00 am and goes until 2pm.
