The event was hosted by Oxford MP Arpan Khanna, and it included a special appearance from Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.
WOODSTOCK - Over 3,000 people attended Oxford MP Arpan Khanna's community barbeque over the weekend.
It was held at the the Outdoor Farm Show Grounds in Woodstock on Saturday. Khanna says it was great to see everyone and he is humbled by their support."
"It was an honour to speak with so many people about the challenges facing our country, including the ongoing trade dispute with the United States, the rising cost of living and the need to make our communities safer. We discussed our Conservative plan to lower costs, strengthen our economy, restore safe streets and put Canada first."
The event also had a very special guest, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.
Khanna says Poilievre shared a message of unity, hope and resilience.
"One thing was unmistakably clear: there is a strong and growing desire for change. The thousands of people who came out demonstrated that Conservatives are united, energized and ready to fight for hardworking Canadians and build a stronger, safer and more prosperous Canada. We will never stop fighting for the families, seniors, farmers, workers and small business owners who are the backbone of our country."
