Police have arrested a woman from Tillsonburg for making and distributing child pornography.
TILLSONBURG - A woman from Tillsonburg has been charged with making child pornography.
The OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Norfolk OPP have been investigating the woman since May 5th. Police were given a tip about a woman who had child pornography on her cell phone. This led police to seize her two cell phones, two laptops and one external data storage device.
On May 11th police charged 52 year old Linda Clifford with one count of Making Child Pornography, one count of Distributing Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
Clifford was released on a recognizance of bail with conditions. She is schedule to appear on May 31, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe Ontario.
The investigation is continuing.
