The victim was assaulted by several individuals before having their vehicle stolen late Friday night.
OXFORD COUNTY - A robbery in Zorra was reported late Friday night to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
At approximately 1:50 a.m., the Oxford detachment of the OPP received a report that a vehicle was stolen on Road 68, Zorra Township.
The police investigation determined that multiple individuals dressed in black clothing and wearing masks, approached the driver of the vehicle and proceeded to assault the victim.
Despite the suspects brandishing an edged weapon, no injuries were reported, however the individuals did flee the area in an unknown direction with the stolen vehicle.
The OPP wants to remind all members of the public to always be aware of their personal safety.
