Woodstock Cleans the City is on the lookout for volunteers to help with clean-up events on Monday August 15th, Saturday August 20th, and Monday August 22nd.
WOODSTOCK - They're going to hit the streets of Woodstock in order to clean up the Friendly City.
The volunteer group Woodstock Cleans the City will be hosting three community clean-up days over the next few weeks:
Monday August 15th - Brompton Park - 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday August 20th - Roth Park - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Monday August 22nd - Downtown Woodstock BIA district - 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The group is currently looking for more volunteers. Those who are interested can send an e-mail to woodstockcleansthecity@gmail.com or send a message to the @woodstockcleansthecity2022 Instagram account.
Those who sign up can bring their own rakes and brooms, but the group will be providing the garbage bags, gloves, and vests.
Woodstock Cleans the City has already held clean-up events in Southside Park and in the Huron Park Secondary School area this year.
