OXFORD COUNTY - The Civic Long Holiday Weekend is upon us, but with it brings a few closures in Woodstock and Oxford County.
The civic holiday is not a statutory holiday under "Ontario’s Retail Business Holidays Act". Stores that may normally be closed like: liquor, beer and grocery can remain open, provided local municipalities do not object.
Here’s what’s open/closed for Monday August 3, 2015:
Open:
•All Shoppers Drug Mart locations
•Most grocery stores
•The LCBO in Woodstock
•Wal-Mart (Regular hours)
Closed:
•Banks
•Government offices
•Post Offices (no mail delivery)
•Woodstock Public Library
No garbage/recycling pickup, collection will be moved to Tuesday. Woodstock transit/para-transit will operate today.
