A Woodstock man has been charged with careless driving and fail to remain after a truck backed into a hydro pole in West Perth yesterday morning.
WEST PERTH - A 52-year-old man from Woodstock is facing charges after a truck hit a hydro pole in West Perth.
The Perth OPP got the call shortly before 9:30 a.m. yesterday. Officers say the driver had pulled over on Maddison Street East and backed into the hydro pole. The area had to be closed off for several hours while crews repaired the damage.
The Woodstock man has been charged with careless driving and fail to remain. He will appear in a Stratford courtroom at a later date.
