Woodstock Spiderman will have a birthday party in Southside Park on August 6th.
WOODSTOCK - Comic book characters are swinging into Southside Park from all over Ontario to celebrate a big birthday. Spider-Woman, Silk, Ironman, and over 20 Spider-Men are coming to Woodstock to help the Woodstock Spider-Man celebrate.
The day also features real life heroes from the Woodstock Police Service, The Woodstock Fire Department, and EMTs.
The Woodstock Spider-Man is hoping to have some fun, but also do some good.
"Don't bring me a birthday present. I know it's my birthday but I'm really pushing to get the food bank stocked up again, so if you guys can bring in a food donation for the food bank, that'd be perfect."
There will also be cake for 300 people, and of course plenty of photo ops with Woodstock's superhero.
The free event is going down on Saturday, August 6th at Southside Park from 2pm until 4pm.
