INGERSOLL - An agreement has been reached between Ingersoll Support Services and OPSEU/SEFPO Local 172.
Both parties made the announcement on their social media pages last night, marking an end to the work stoppage that lasted several months. The union had set a strike date for May 25th, and members were locked out on May 23rd.
The official statement says the path forward is one of reconciliation and renewed strength. It also thanked everyone for their patience, trust and support.
The agreement is pending ratification and further details have been released.
