Zero Tolerance for Distracted Driving.

The OPP will be conducting a province wide distracted driving campaign.

Distracted driving is the number one killer on Ontario highways right now.

Provincial Police say 65 people died last year in OPP related collisions where distracted driving was a contributing factory or the primary cause of death.

In comparison, 55 deaths were speed related, 53 for not wearing a seatbelt and 45 were alcohol related deaths.

The OPP will be conducting a province wide distracted driving campaign this spring and officers in Oxford County will have zero tolerance.
