A survey has been created to determine the level of interest from the public. These outdoor courts would be used for ball hockey, basketball or tennis.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Zorra Township wants to hear from residents on whether they want to see recreational outdoor courts.
Council adopted the Recreation, Arts & Culture Master Plan in 2018, but the plan did not identify the immediate need for outdoor sport courts.
However, since the RACMP was adopted, members of the community have appeared in front of the Zorra Recreation Advisory Committee and council to request building these courts.
Council has told staff to assess the need for multi-sport outdoor courts in Zorra and report back the results. These outdoor courts would be used for ball hockey, basketball or tennis.
A survey is available online.
It's intended to determine the level of interest in these courts from residents and the results will then be a part of staff reports at a council meeting in the future.
