BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - Southwestern Public Health has confirmed another active case of COVID-19 in Blandford-Blenheim.
The small Township currently has the most cases of the virus in Oxford County at 3. The County currently has 11 active cases of COVID-19 with 2 cases each in Woodstock, Tillsonburg and East Zorra Tavistock and 1 case each in the Townships of Zorra and Norwich.
Elgin County and St. Thomas currently has 17 active cases of COVID-19.
For the Southwestern Health Unit region we have had 47 cumulative cases since the pandemic started. 15 people have recovered and 3 people have died from the virus. The health unit has tested 1,366 people and 271 test results are still pending. We did have 1 institutional outbreak at a long term care home in West Elgin.
