OXFORD/ELGIN/ST.THOMAS - Southwestern Public Health has confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 today and another 4 people have fully recovered from the virus.
Locally in Oxford County, our numbers of confirmed cases have dropped from 17 to 16 and Elgin, St. Thomas currently has 11 active cases. One of the new confirmed cases today is in the Town of Tillsonburg.

- 2 cases in Norwich Township
- 3 cases in Tillsonburg
- 2 cases in Zorra Township
- 1 cases East-Zorra Tavistock
- 1 case in South West Oxford Township
To date, the Health Unit has tested 2,233 people for COVID-19. We have 59 cumulative confirmed cases, 28 cases have been resolved, 4 people have died from the virus and we currently have 27 active cases. We have also had two institutional outbreaks since the pandemic was declared, both in Elgin County. One of them has been resolved and the second one was declared after a staff member at a long term care home tested positive.
