Bowl For Kids Sake is coming to Tillsonburg and Ingersoll over the next couple of weeks.
TILLSONBURG - The Bowl For Kids Sake fundraiser is heading to Tillsonburg this weekend.
This year's theme is Fandemonium, encouraging the public to dress up in their favourite sports jerseys.
Resource Development Manager of Big Brothers Big Sisters Liz Wismer-Van Meer says it's a fun event that includes bowling, along with other games and prizes.
"Our theme again is Fandemonium for Bowl For Kids Sake. So we're encouraging our teams, our participants to come dressed up in their sports gear, their favourite sports jerseys. Maybe their company has some kind of jerseys or apparel that they can wear, it's just wearing your best colours and coming out for an hour and a half for some bowling. We have some games, we have some snacks and of course prizes for those who are the top fundraiser's, teams that are top fundraiser's as well as the best dressed team. So, lots of fun for everybody and lots of opportunities for people to win some great prizes."
She adds they still have a few spots open.
"We still have opportunities for people to get their teams in, if they would like to join us. You can sign up a team with a maximum of 6 players and it can be a group of friends, a company or an organization who comes on out."
The event will also be in Ingersoll from May 2 to the 4th. Proceeds will go towards the BBBS mentoring programs. You can sign up your team of 6 now online here.
