Ingersoll's Elm Hurst Inn and Spa will be hosting the 13th annual Crime Stoppers Gala Dinner and Auction. Country artist Genevieve Fisher will be performing and a silent auction will also be available.
INGERSOLL - The Crime Stoppers Gala Dinner and Auction will be at the Elm Hurst Inn in Ingersoll.
This Thursday's annual event will be the 13th time the Gala is held.
Vice Chair of Board Lynda Bartlett says there will be a silent auction, plus live music from country artist Genevieve Fisher.
"Genevieve was with us two years ago and was a huge hit, and we've invited her back this year to help us raise some funds for Crime Stoppers of Oxford."
Bartlett says it's one of their biggest fundraisers of the year.
"There's all kinds of great items from the community coming in, so it's a good opportunity to start your Christmas shopping."
In addition to their Gala, Crime Stoppers of Oxford also organizes a golf tournament in June.
Proceeds from this event will go towards their tips reward program. She adds there are only a few tickets left to buy.
Tickets can be picked up at either Woodstock Print & Litho Ltd or at Duynisveld & Co in Ingersoll. Bartlett says you may also contact Jan Hauck at 519-421-6989.
Cocktails will be at 6:00 pm before the event gets underway at 7:00 pm.
