Police are searching for a dog owner a person was bit near Sparling Crescent in St. Marys.
ST. MARYS - The Perth District Health Unit is searching for the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident in St. Marys.
A person was bit on Monday morning just before noon in Sparling Bush, near Sparling Crescent. The dog is small, white and was being walked on a leash by a young woman, who also had a medium sized dark haired dog with her.
The Health Unit is investigating this incident to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. If the dog is not found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
The Perth District Health Unit reminds people to always obtain the contact information of the owners of the animals involved in a biting incident.
