A man from Woodstock is facing charges after his children became concerned with his driving ability.
A man from Woodstock is facing drinking and driving related charges after his children said they were concerned with his driving.
Early on April 7th, the OPP received a tip about a vehicle travelling eastbound on the 402 near Mandaumin Road. The driver's children, who were in the vehicle at the time, texted their mother to say they were worried about how he was driving. The mother then let police know.
Officers caught up with the vehicle on the 402 east of Centre Road. Through investigation they found the man had been drinking and he was arrested and taken to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
The 43 year old man has been charged with driving while impaired, and care or control over 80 mg.
He was released on a promise to appear.
