Big Brothers Big Sisters is inviting everyone to check out Euchre-ama at the South Gate Centre on Friday night.
WOODSTOCK - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock is hosting their annual Euchre-ama event tomorrow at the South Gate Centre.
Executive Director Kristen Ralph says the event is not just geared for seniors.
"Euchre really has a pretty big following and what we have been seeing over the last couple of years, is that there are a lot of young people who are enjoying playing euchre as well, so we a getting a big group of people coming out, whether they are younger or seniors, they are all just coming out and having a great time."
Ralph adds they have been doing this tournament for years.
"It has been running since before Big Brothers Big Sisters amalgamated, so Big Sisters started it years ago. It is just a progressive euchre tournament, it costs $20 to enter in cash or pledges and then you play progressive euchre, you have a quick snack and we have prizes to be won."
Registration starts at 6:15 pm tomorrow, with the games beginning at 7:00 p.m. and it costs $20 in pledges to play. All of the money raised at this event will go to support the programs offered by Big Brothers Big Sisters in Woodstock.
Tax receipts issued on pledges of $20 or more. You can also pre register online here.
