Re-live the days of drive-ins at the Vintage Car Show and Drive-In.
TILLSONBURG - Turn back time for a day in Tillsonburg.
The Annandale National Historic Site will be hosting a Vintage Car Show and Drive-In on August 25th.
Summer Event and Tourism Coordinator, Cassidy Adcock says it will be fun to experience the days of drive-ins.
"Oh it's like back in the day, the drive-in feelings. Everybody was excited to go to the drive-in. We wanted to bring back that retro feeling. So we've rented a huge screen, we've picked one of the top movies that everybody loves for all ages and we're going to have a car show there to follow the retro theme. It's going to be a great family fun night."
Adcock says they chose the movie Grease staring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as it's drive-in movie.
"It took us a while to pick it, but we picked this because it's a family fun movie, everyone loves it, all ages. And it fits with the theme too, we wanted it to be retro and cars oriented."
There will also be food trucks at the event to enjoy some fresh food while watching the movie.
The event starts at 5pm and all proceeds will go towards the Annandale National Historic Site.
