Tavistock Queen's Park is getting a financial boost from the federal government. MP Dave MacKenzie was on hand last week to make the announcement to help in the construction of a multi-use pavilion on the grounds. MacKenzie, says the funds come from the Government's Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund. "The total cost I'm told is about $1,400,000 so the contribution from the federal government is just over $170,000." MacKenzie adds the investment will help create jobs and growth and will support community spirit for years to come.
