Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says by the end of the month, there will be enough pediatric doses for all eligible children in Canada.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed Canadians today, promising more pediatric doses and additional rapid tests.
Trudeau told reporters that by the end of the month, 140 million additional rapid tests will be delivered to provinces and territories, which is "quadruple" December's fulfilled request for 35 million rapid tests.
The Prime Minister also stated that there are enough doses in Canada for all adults who are eligible to get a first, second, or booster shot.
Health Minister Jean-Yves DuClos noted that the rapid tests will be distributed on a per-capita basis to provinces and territories.
He said the tests will be enough to provide one rapid test per week per person in Canada for the month of January.
DuClos also said by the end of the month, there will be enough child-sized doses for all kids aged 5-11.
