There was an increased police presence on Robinson Road this morning as a search warrant was executed.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Illegal drugs and money were seized in South-West Oxford.
This morning at 5:20 a.m., there was an increased police presence on Robinson Road as multiple OPP units executed a search warrant. The warrant was executed without incident, and a 56-year-old South-West Oxford man is now facing charges.
Those charges are possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of an opioid for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The estimated cost of the drugs is $80,000, and there was $4,000 of Canadian money.
He remains in custody and is waiting for a bail hearing in Woodstock.
